PMI Portland Chapter members

Chapter members automatically have accounts. We download member information from PMI weekly. If necessary, you must change your profile information at PMI Global! We cannot change it for you.

  • Userid (default) – first initial and last name*
  • Password (default) – PMI number

There are no spaces or punctuation in member usernames.

*The username is generated from the name information provided to PMI Global.  It is not the same as the PMI Global username.

Student members

Student Chapter membership (and pricing) applies to those who:

  • Are PMI Portland Chapter members in good standing, and
  • Have applied for (and received) Student status from PMI GOC

We receive this information weekly in our data load from PMI GOC and update our database accordingly.

Student membership and pricing does not apply to Chapter members or non-members who may also happen to be students.

New Chapter members

Are you a very new member? You may already have an account–please try the standard login (above). If you cannot log in and need to register for an event that is closing soon, we can create an account for you. Otherwise, please wait for the regular import and try again in a week.
Go to the New Member Information page for complete information.

Non-members

Non-members with accounts

You may have already have an account if you have attended an event or belong to a roundtable, for example.  Please do not create multiple accounts.

  • Username–usually the first initial and last name, or your email address
  • Password (default)–site generated password, which was sent to you via email when you created the account

See "Forgot your username/password?" below.

Non-members without accounts

You can get a new account in two ways:

  1. Register for an event–you’ll create an account during registration
  2. Use the Non-Member Signup form

Tabs

In the area of graphical user interfaces (GUI), a tabbed document interface (TDI) or a Tab is one that allows multiple documents to be contained within a single window, using tabs as a navigational widget for switching between sets of documents. It is an interface style most commonly associated with web browsers, web applications, text editors, and preference panes.

GUI tabs are modeled after traditional card tabs inserted in paper files or card indexes (in keeping with the desktop metaphor).
