Thank you for joining the PMI Portland Chapter. We are delighted to have you as a new member. Here is some information that should help you get involved in our Chapter, and get the most from your membership.

New Member Orientation
Chapter members join PMI and the Portland Chapter at the pmi.org (PMI Global) web site.
IMPORTANT - It takes up to three business days for PMI Global to process your new PMI Portland Chapter membership (or renewal) and to send us the data so that we can create your PMI Portland account on our site. You cannot log in and receive member pricing until this happens - don't wait!!!
You will log in to the PMI Portland Chapter web site with your PMI Global credentials.
As soon as your new account is created, our system sends you an email with the Subject: Welcome to PMI Portland Chapter. Click here for the contents.
New member login
Log in using the MEMBER LOGIN link on our site. Your PMI Portland Chapter username and password are the same as your pmi.org (PMI Global) credentials. We share a single sign-on.
See the PMI Global Customer Care (Help) web page for questions as PMI Portland does not have access to your credential information.
Chapter Student member accounts
Student Chapter membership (and pricing) applies to those who:
- Are PMI Portland Chapter members in good standing, and
- Have applied for (and received) Student status from PMI GOC (see http://www.pmi.org/Membership/Membership-Types-of-Memberships.aspx)
Student membership and pricing does not apply to Chapter members or non-members who may also happen to be students.
Updating account information
Members must update their account information at PMI Global, and the updates will be reflected in the PMI Portland Chapter account information.
Please be sure to keep your profile information accurate and complete on the pmi.org site. We tailor our member offerings and activities based in part on information we receive from PMI Global.
Chapter Membership, and your ability to log in and receive member pricing, automatically expires on our site at the same time as it does at PMI Global.
Event Registration & Pricing

When you log in and register for events, you will see pricing appropriate to your membership status.

As a Chapter member you are eligible to join the Jobs Forum. Members will be sent email announcements about local jobs sent to PMI Portland specifically aimed at PMs in the area. For more information, go to the Jobs Forum web page.
