Message from the Director of Workshops
I’m Leonie Alesci, PMP, the incoming PMI PDX Director of Workshops. I think the PDX Workshops offer a great opportunity for current PMP or prospective PMP candidates to further their education, network and earn PDU. We have some great workshops lined up with the next one on October 20th titled Leading with Cultural Intelligence. Having lived in 4 countries and having worked as part of a global team for more than 15 years, I can attest to the importance in having the skills to manage and leverage cultural difference.
I look forward to seeing some of you at the upcoming workshops and also welcome any ideas for new workshop topics or interests you may have.
Leonie Alesci, PMP

As globalization continues to gain speed and strength, the 'one-size-fits-all' approach to leadership is no longer sufficient to effectively engage increasingly diverse, multicultural, and international project stakeholders. More than ever before, the capacity to manage and leverage cultural differences is vital at all levels of the organization. Sign up for this dynamic leadership training opportunity.
Use the link above to see info for all current roundtable meetings. In addition, please note these new locations, and bring your toughest project issues for consideration among our colleagues. PDUs are available for each meeting, and the discussions provide a wealth of perspectives and experience to all levels of analysts, engineers, and project managers.
