Sean Henry: After more than 4 years working in New Relic technical support (becoming the globally acknowledged subject matter expert on Alerts), I moved to a Product Manager role in the Alerting/AIOps space, primarily focusing on detection (alert) configuration. I took ownership of that role and spent the last 2 years as Product Manager for detection configuration at New Relic. During my time there, I raised year-over-year engagement with the product by 23%
and reduced COGS for alert management by 80%. Before then, I spent 17 years experience in semiconductor fabs, mostly as a defect technician working with histogram tools and scanning electron microscopes. After finishing a 15-week code boot camp at The Tech Academy learning full-stack development in several languages (including Python and C#) I started working as a Tech Support Engineer at New Relic, supporting the Infrastructure, Alerts and
Insights products.
