Cultural Intelligence: Tools for Global WorkforceWhile it has been said that CQ is the new IQ, very few professionals join the workforce with the needed knowledge to perform across cultures. In this session, participants will be made aware of the importance to understand how their own culture has shaped their behaviors, speech patterns and expectations. They will also learn about the seven cultural dimensions at play when interacting with people who do not share the same cultural mores. More importantly, this session will describe how one can reach the "Mediator Zone" from where cultural differences enrich a team performance and success. |
