What an amazing thing it is to witness how constant change can be. At this year’s annual conference, we in the PMI community received a resonating “call to action” by the broader project management community. Bridging the gap between waterfall and agile methodologies, as well as retooling (adoption of new tools and technologies) were at the forefront of the conversation. The steady adoption of Agile project management methodologies has created high demand for agile-savvy project practitioners. This trend has grown far beyond the software-development field. The Project Management Institute (PMI) has developed the PMI-ACP certification for practitioners whose organizations are adopting agile approaches, or who are using agile practices in their projects now.
The PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) credential is designed to:
