2025 ANNUAL CONFERENCE

New Speaker Announced!

We’re excited to introduce another esteemed speaker for the PMI Portland 2025 Annual Conference—Leslie Ann Kainoa, Cybersecurity State Coordinator for Region 10, Oregon.

With over 19 years of experience in cybersecurity, Leslie has an extensive background supporting critical infrastructure, military operations, and public sector cybersecurity initiatives. Originally from Hawaii, she launched her career as a helpdesk technician for the U.S. Army Reserves, later advancing to roles in cybersecurity analysis and strategic protection for organizations like the U.S. Army Pacific, U.S. Marine Corps Pacific, and Special Operations Command Pacific.

After relocating to Oregon in 2013, Leslie played a key role in securing operational technology at Portland General Electric and later led cybersecurity efforts at TriMet, helping build their cybersecurity program from the ground up. Now, as Cybersecurity State Coordinator for CISA, she focuses on supporting private sector critical infrastructure, cybersecurity education, and public outreach.

Leslie holds several prestigious certifications, including CISSP, CISA, CDPSE, and GISCP, and is passionate about cybersecurity awareness, mentorship, and community engagement. She also dedicates time to student outreach programs and coaching soccer.
