Meet Our First Speaker: Sterling Shury
To prepare for the Tools of Tomorrow, we must embrace positive change. We are thrilled to announce the first of our featured speakers: Sterling Shury!
Sterling is the Senior Director of the Strategic Transformation Office at Smartsheet, where he leads the team responsible for the development and delivery of Smartsheet's enterprise strategic portfolio. He also chairs the Portfolio Management Committee.
In his session, "Avoiding Burnout with a Change-Ready Culture," Sterling will share actionable strategies for fostering resilience and adaptability within organizations. Learn how to create a culture that not only navigates change effectively but thrives in it—all while safeguarding team well-being.
Amber McMillan - The Feisty PM
With over 30 years of experience across profit and non-profit sectors, Amber McMillan, known as "The Feisty PM," is a dynamic impact coach, thought leader, and executive educator. Amber specializes in empowering teams to harness their strengths and navigate change with empathy and inclusivity.
An advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion, she champions the power of diverse project teams to achieve extraordinary results. Amber's expertise in communication, conflict resolution, and relationship management drives her people-first approach to project management.
As a mentor and educator, Amber inspires growth and collaboration while shaping the next generation of leaders. She currently serves as the Executive Director and Chief Visionary Officer of Rogers Society and as the PMI Region 1 Mentor for the Pacific Northwest of the Americas.
