Workshop - Illuminating the Impact of Culture and Language on Project Teams To Enable You To Build Trust and Reach Your Goals

Could you unknowingly be sabotaging your projects and results by overlooking trust as the foundation of effective project completion? Trust is based on shared understanding that most often comes from shared culture. Culture shapes the values, beliefs, and attitudes that result in our expectations of and approach to how work should be done. Culture may be country and language, but also include region, gender, age, and conversational style. Goals: Understand how the Complexity of Cultural Layering unexpectedly impacts the way people talk, listen, make assumptions, create expectations, and are provoked. Be aware of your own “layering”. Appreciate how people from different cultures may approach work very differently. Learn how to apply this insight to increase your skills to not only analyze and overcome your own work challenges, but also to build stronger relationships, be more effective, and reduce stress. This one day workshop will increase your awareness, skills, tools, and strategy for effectiveness with crosscultural teams and stakeholders.
