PM in the PM Workshop #4: Personal Branding

Beyond the Résumé: Defining Your Professional Value

Organizations invest in building strong, recognizable brands. But what about our own professional brands?

In a competitive job market, it's tempting to cast a wide net and try to appeal to every employer. Yet when we try to be everything to everyone, we risk losing sight of what makes us distinctive.

What if we approached our job searches with greater intention—grounded in our strengths, values, and the unique contributions we bring?

Join us for the fourth and final workshop in our PM in the PM job-seeking series, where we'll explore how to:

  • Define your professional brand: Identify your strengths, values, preferred work environments, and what differentiates you from others with similar qualifications.
  • Communicate your value: Align your résumé, LinkedIn profile, networking conversations, and professional presence with the value you bring.
  • Be more intentional: Focus your time and energy on opportunities that align with your professional goals, values, and strengths.

Building on our October workshop, Using AI in the Job Search, we'll continue exploring the Personal Branding Document—not as another résumé rewrite, but as a tool for articulating who you are professionally and what you uniquely contribute.

Our format: This free, small-group, participant-driven workshop is limited to 15 participants to encourage meaningful conversation, peer learning, and practical strategies you can apply to your own job search.
