Chapter Meeting – Stakeholder Identification

This session will cover how to identify stakeholders for every project. The objectives of the session would be as 

(1) Why one needs to identify stakeholders

(2) Methods to identify all known stack holders that can help with the execution of the project 

(3) Methods to identify stakeholders that can influence the project, but do not contribute to the execution of the project, ie diverse stake holders.

Kelly is a Senior Water Resource Planner, Project Manager, and Public Involvement Specialist with 13 years working for the US Army Corps of Engineers on the west coast. Kelly has a master’s in environmental planning from UC Berkley and worked for American Rivers, a national river conservation non-profit, and a local Bay Area, CA water district before coming to the Corps.
