How does it work?

Job Seekers must be current PMI-Portland members, and must register for this service. After their membership is validated, they will automatically receive Job Postings via email.

Employers do not need to be PMI Portland members, nor do they pay a fee for this service. They merely send an email to a listserve address and (after the email is approved) it is automatically distributed to hundreds of local Project Management professionals who are seeking employment.

Job Seeker Information

Job Posting Registration Click here to register for (or unsubscribe from) the Job Posting Service.

• Registration requires an email address; your name is optional. However, providing your full name and the email address that you have listed with PMI will expedite the approval process.
• We will validate your PMI membership - this is a manual process that may take 2-3 days. Please read the message in the next bullet for more information.
• If we cannot validate your membership, you will receive an email that says:

"This system is for PMI-Portland members only. I could not find you in the list of members. Unfortunately our information is always behind PMI "corporate" information due to the update cycle they have. Hence I can be VERY wrong. If you are a new member it can take up to two months for me to get that information. If you have joined PMI-Portland in the last THREE months please send me your PMI number, full name and the date you joined. I will then add you to the system."

• Ensure that your email provider and/or the email program you use will allow emails from @listsvcs.pmi-portland.org and @pmi-portland.org. All emails will come from this address, but if you can allow all mail from this email address AND from its subdomains, this will help ensure your job posting emails are not tagged as spam.
• Once registered, Job Postings will be emailed to all Job Seekers within minutes of being posted.
• Once registered, you can view archived postings here (text files): Job Posting Archive You will need to log in to access these archives.
